I don't run down other peoples' faiths. I think that is the most immature thing a person can do - attack the beliefs people have based their very lives on. I am a big supporter of religious freedom and religious tolerance. Religious tolerance doesn't mean you have to accept or believe that all religions are equal, or true, but that all people should have the right to follow (or not to follow) any religion they so choose.

Some people thinks their religion is the best and right one as opposing to see or examined the religion of another. It is wrong to run down another faith and they know God too and should make decision for themselves. A person can believe what ever he wants whether right or wrong.

I agree with KC Superstar, but I also agree with Halfadan. Jesus did say to go into the world and preach the Gospel, I do that and I agree with it. But I also think we (christians) should not shove the Bible in people's faces and put other people down just because they don't believe what we do, whether we think what we believe is the only truth or not. And the same goes for everyone.

People have the right to believe in what they want to believe, whether it be the Pope, Jesus Christ or the Tooth Fairy. People that "run down other people's faith" are just unaware (a nice way of saying ignorant).

simple. they need to win peoples heart to win followers. they do this by running down others. then we as the hearers and without thinking deeply follow the best faith that can offer the best to its followers. its our shallow mindedness and our small minds that wants instant gratification. some of us feel good about running others. for eg - when we point a finger at others we forget that we have three other fingers pointing back to us! its time that we start trying to be sincere in our belief in God and that salvation can be had through ourselves and thru any religion and not just one religion. yes you are right - we shld stop this

It depends on what they believe. If they believe in the Bible then no I don't think that they should be pushed out of believing that but if they believe in Gothism as the answer then someone should help them figure it out. I believe that God created the world and that Jesus is coming again and if you have questions about this again ask them and I'll get back to ya k?

Religions encourage converting others into believing in what the religion teaches. Is it true to the religious belief, or is it to make money; I don't know. But when we believe we are saved, why wouldn't we try to save our loved ones as well, and it grows from there.
That being said, I agree that people should be free to believe in what they choose to. We all have to find our own way.

In general, there are religions that practice the belief of "Live and let live". Some of them are Neo-pagan religions, Buddhism, and Hinduism. These people are usually very respectful of those with different beliefs.

the Word tells us to spread the Word. Unfortunately we do not all agree about the interpretation of the Word so we all have different faiths to teach and believe we are right this will continue until a rhema comes

People coming on a forum about "religion" don't expect everyone is going to be "the same."
They should expect to be challenged. If what they believe is "the truth" shouldn't they be up to a challenge? I wouldn't want to believe in something that was so weak that it fell down with the first puff of air.
