The chihuahua is the smallest dog. Chihuahua standard is 2-6 lb. Most will be between 4-6 lb. No chihuahua could ever be as big as a golden retriever. The largest I have seen was about 25, but very much overweight. Most chihuahuas are smaller than most dachshunds.

It depends on what kind of chihuahua you get. All dogs stop growing after about 6months old. A chihuaha can be up to 15lbs. Or as little as 2lbs. It all depends on where you get it, how large the parents where, and if it is a full or mix breed. To compare a golden retrievers weigh about 60-85lbs. A chihuahua will be about the size of a goldens head lol. They will stay about the size of a daschund but some may be taller. Just ask the breeder you are buying your upup from. They can tell you approx how big the pup will get depending on it parents. I've NEVER seen a chihuahua reach over 15lbs. So they stay small. Great for house dogs.

Chihuahua's are a small dog. There size can vary greatly depending on the parents. On the average I would guess that they are usually under 20 lbs at the top end and some are as small as 3 lbs at the lower end.
I hope that helps. I've never seen a chihuahua as big as a golden retriever. That would be quite a site!!!

No, chihuahuas stay small. Smaller than a daschund I believe. I guess it depends on whether or not it is a pure chihuahua or if it is mixed.

Chihuahuas stay small only a few pounds as an adult. None grow as large as retrievers.

Chihuahuas are small dogs... depending on if its a teacup or a standard its full grown weight will be between 3-15 pounds... then tend to get fat if their diet isnt properly managed so talk to your vet about what kind of food it should be on and how much for his weight and size.
