What you meant is: Would you rather be the President of the USA or the Pope? My answer is neither. To be the President of the USA especially now, is not a happy position to me. He is the most worried and stressful person in the world, and he can never enjoy going places in freedom without an army of body guards, and eat whatever he likes wherever he goes without being afraid of getting poisoned.
As for the Pope, let me tell you this little joke. The Pope was visited by a man for an audience. He asked him what he can do for the man, and said that he could grant him anything he wanted. The man told the Pope that he wished he could become the richest man in the world.
The Pope told him that it is impossible because he has taken that position. The man then told him that he wished he could become the most powerful king on earth. The Pope again told him that that position is also taken.
Finally as his last wish he asked if he can get a perfect woman for his wife. The Pope immediately slapped him on his face. The man was very surprised and said: "Why did you do that to me?" To which the Pope replied: If there is such a thing as perfect woman, do you think I would choose to be a Pope?'
O.K. If I have no other choice than the two you suggested, I think I might choose to be the President of USA. But let me be what I am at the moment, thank you very much!

I am not Catholic so I would not want to be the Pope. I would rather live in the United States than anywhere in the world, so I pick President.

US president. It is also the more difficult job of the 2. It be kinda hard being the pope as an atheist.

the Pope because the Holy Spirit inspired the cardinals to select him. The US president is elected by ignorant people. And all Americans over 18 don't ever bother to vote. All the cardinals select a Pope and the Holy Spirit sees over them. Plus the Pope is closer to Jesus than the president or any world leader.
