We are NOT all God's children. God clearly says that we are given the right to be chilren of God through faith in Jesus Christ (John 1:12). You only become a child of God, able to call Him "Abba" (Daddy) through faith (Rom 8:15). You only become an heirs, as a child would to his father's estate, through faith (Rom 8:17). We are adopted into God's "family" through Jesus Christ (Eph 1:5).
In the 1st century, a child was not considered a son of the father when he was born, but a slave. According to Roman law, the father had the right to sell the child as property. But when the father adopted the son into his family, the son would then be considered a "son" and have full rights as an heir. This is one of the metaphores God also uses to explain the spiritual truth of our relationship with Him through Christ.

Someone had to pay the price for all of our sins.
Think about it, . . . . we all commit sin but most do not want to admit it. God, however knew since the begginning of time that we all need a savior for those sins and HE provided one. We only needed one and it was Jesus. " In the beginning was God and the the Word was God,
and was made into flesh. That was Jesus !
I could go on and on but I do not know where you come from so I have to stop for now. But that is why we have just one son. Yes we are all his children, but God only need one to pay a price for us all !!

It's really just a context issue. Check out Genesis 6:1-4, where other "sons of God" have children with human women, and give birth to the Nephilim.

Only those whom He chastises and who recieve correction are His children. The rest are illegetimate and are disinherited to put it politely. The legitimacy of Jesus was questioned and mocked by the most religious and highly educated of His day but even some of them believed on Him because there was so much proof even after His death. All the signs that foretold His coming and His ministry here on earth were fulfilled 100%. Only One Son of God was needed for the redemption of man-kind and Jesus is still enough. His name and shed blood is still powerful enough to remove the blackest sin-stains from any heart to this day!!

That he's the only begotten son means that he was without peer. Also he's the first-born of all creation. But the word can also be used more generally without ref. to derivation in the sense of ‘unique,’ ‘unparalleled,’ ‘incomparable,’ though one should not confuse the refs. to class or species and to manner. He's the only son of God in the sense that he descended from him by being produced by him.
But we are not all God's children: “Sons of the true God” are mentioned at Genesis 6:2-4 in reference to the rebellious angels that beame Nephilim. Adam was the first human “son of God” by virtue of his creation by God. (Ge 2:7; Lu 3:38) But he was disowned in Genesis 3. Becasue he sinned people can't claim to be sons of God by virtue of birth, as you'll find at John 1:12, 13.
If we aren't God's children, then whose are we? 1 John 3:8 will tell you.

Well first off, we aren't all God's children. The Bible clearly states that if you don't beleive in God then you are not his child. Sort of a if you are not with him then you are against him, if you don't beleive in him then you aren't his child. But if you are a Christian and then you are his child. And to answer the question, Jesus is God's only begotten son, but he is also God.

Not according to the Church (assuming you mean the Catholic Church), according to God. "This is my Son, in Whom I am well pleased."
Christians are children of God by adoption.

Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God. It was prophecied that a virgin would give birth and He would be called Emanuel, meaning God with us. Yeshua (Jesus) meaning "He will save".
It was prophecied in Genesis that the seed of the woman would defeat the snake. Jesus is the promised seed of the woman (without sin nature, like the first Adam before the fall). He was tempted by the snake, but didn't sin like the first Adam. The wages of sin is death.
Jesus shed His own blood for the remission of our sins. He was the Lamb of God without blemish. Since He was without sin, death was defeated and Jesus raised from the dead. Jesus is the Resurrection & the Life.
So we all inherit sin nature from the 1st Adams sin, and all can be reborn spiritually through faith in the Resurrection, the last Adams Righteousness.
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through faith in Christ Jesus.
We are all Gods children born on earth by our earthly parents (with sin nature), but all of us have sinned and gone our own way. With rebellion comes spiritual death / blindness. To see the Kingdom of God you must be born again. Reborn spiritually. That happens with confessing Jesus Christ Lord & Savior and believing in ones heart the Atonement & Resurrection.
When one is born again, reborn spiritually, one is born of God, and ones Spirit/ anointing bears witness and one can pray 24/7 to God the Father, Word & Holy Spirit.
