I have got one such offer. They have said that they will sponsor /pay for my ticket & visa, but I do have to pay for the Immigration Lawyers Screening Fee which is $375 USD which is quite a lot for me. But my worry is if I pay that fee and after that they stop all correspondence with me and I cannot travel to Canada, my money will be lost !!!? Nowadays there are lots of Scams as one knows. The manager has given me the word that nothing wrong will happen but it is from their side .So can you please give me some suggestions /advice ?? Should I accept it ?

IT's A SCAM! Yes, they want your money. And if you pay, it will be lost. All you will receive for it is that bit of hope you have right now.

Lots of people receive that email from similar countries where people might be short of work and want to immigrate to Canada/US. This question comes up here every once in awhile and is listed as scam on the Internet. Do a search on here and the Internet and you will see.

It doesn't make sense. Why would they pay your flight and visa costs when they can hire someone right off the street from their 9% unemployment rate in the area?

A Omni hotel exists; they do have one hotel in Montreal Canada - here is the link. If the person you heard from is the Manager - she would have the contact information as given on this link.

Why should they have to go to India to hire someone? There are plenty of people in Canada wanting such jobs and they are qualified.

If some company hires you in a foreign country then you should not have to pay anything.

Omni Hotels as based in the USA
