I have a long A- frame room. The room has cherry wood up half way from the floor, all around the room. We are trying to get it ready to sell. What color of paint do I use for the wall that is left and the ceil? The room has only two small windows.

A person that sells houses said that gray is a good color to paint walls in a house going on sell. I thought gray would be cold. Any advise for me? The floors are wood but are in bad shape.

We have a smoke grey color on our walls in our den with hardwood look laminate flooring and believe it or not it looks good we also used red curtains I think red and grey look good together. The paint color came from WAL-MART if you want to look here are some other colors from there you might like brown sugar, bleached wheat, dune, dulce de leche, sweet potato they are browm like and orange browm colors I would leave ceil white.
I hope this helps and good luck.

I would stick with something neutral. You don't want to go paint a color and a potential buyer make a decision on how the color of a room makes them feel. And with the wood, I wouldn't go "white" either. Good luck selling.

How about an off white or eggshell color? Does the rooms have carpet? You might try to use a light shade of paint the color of the carpet but the off white or eggshell goes with anything. I have alot of it in 2 rooms of my house, they are painted burgandy halfway up then eggshell-good combination.

I'd look for something in the pale red/blue range like mauve and avoid yellows. Makes your skin look nice in the reflected light...and should look good with cherry if you hit the right tone...but that's just me.
Best of luck.

A very pale soft cream! Keeps it light and neutral. Anne Maurice would say thats a winner. Hope you get your asking price.
