Violence has been a part of human history since the beginning of time. If it was not "Islamic" violence --- then it would be caused by something differant. Land, oil, power, ect...
I use the term "Islamic" very lightly here, as Islam to me is a religion, and not the terrorists who have corrupted it. Do you know how many Islamic countries there are in the world? People have to start looking at a world globe and seeing large masses of land which are not their own which are FILLED with Muslims. And start saying terrorists and not Islamists. Thanks.

Islamic violence? Just who is that directed at if I may ask. I hope not at Muslims like myself. And yes your children will have to deal with the Islamic radicals just like everyone else.

My heart is going for you. I wish you gave more detail. Islam is not a religion of violence, it is just that bad people and their bad choices give it a bad name. I believe in Jesus and His teachings. Just love your children and show love with your own behavior. God bless you.

sadly, most likely. T^he onjly way it won't happen is if somehow Islam is outlawed and wiped from the face of the earth. And I can't see that happening any time soon.

Seems like it.
It has been going on for centuries and, as Islam is a backward-looking faith system, it cannot look into the future. Thus, violence and destruction and murder in the name of Islam will escalate much more before someone does the decent thing.
Of course, with luck, they will kill themselves at an ever-increasing rate and maybe, just maybe, someone will see the light. Slim chance though.
A great pity that humanity is riddled with religion.
ATHEISM - THE ONLY LOGICAL CHOICE.

Not if you teach them the history of why Islam was started. If you don't then yes, they will be as ignorant and fearful as everyone else. The history of the crusades would be a good place to begin their enlightenment.

Hopefully not. Just be sure to raise them in a way that encourages love and peace as opposed to contributing to the hate and fear.

Doesn't that depend upon whether or not you are a Muslim and how you bring up your children, Sir?
Merry Christmas.
