WELSH, that's just a great way to present your family tree. I guess I can have a good SCOTCH too, if you are offering? I will sit right down down and IRISH tell you my family tree. My ENGLISH is good, so you would be to understand. I have been ill lately, but I am over it and I don't think I would spread my GERMANs around. NORWEGIAN would I do that to you. Do you have any marshmallows? SWISS Miss you have them.

Your metaphors made for some 'cute' reading. I have many ancestors from many places. I usually list my race as Anglo/Saxxon American because I am predominately of white skin. However I am of Scottish, Irish, German, French, Blackfoot and Cherokee Native American descent. As far as I can go back that is. Probably more likely that each ancestor of those nationalites had ancestors from even more different places and origins.

& you've got a great sense of humour, too! Love it! For some reason, always felt "close" to the Irish. Love their slang & phrases! Picked up a lot from my mother, who it seems--was almost everything. (English, French, Dutch, Irish.....) I'm 50% pure bred Croatian, if that means anything to anyone. & "Dragon" isn't a dragon, it's the name of my cousin--pronounced DRAH-GON (as in "own" & accent on the GON.) Incredibly handsome blonde, green eyed Croat. Now I gave it all away! Anyhoo, thanks for the laugh.

lol I love your question!
My ancestors on both sides of my family are from Germany! Hail Deutschland! My grandma moved to America in the 1950s. My grandpa would've came too, but he was executed for war crimes! Although for pleasant conversational purposes, we say that he died in an avalanche while skiing. Grandpa so loved to ski! I don't think there's anything he liked doing more (except maybe killing Jews, ulll!).
