i was wondering if any1 had a clue what it couild b. it dos'ent seem like it hurts him & theres no puss. hepl,any1???

Could be where a tick or flea latched on and punctured the skin to get its blood meal before dropping off. The black spot could be where the blood clotted. I'm not sure without seeing a photo, but I would take the dog to a vet, just to be on the safe side.

This sounds very very close to describing a hot spot. Nothing series, but it does need ointment to take care of. Nothing too awfully expensive. Maybe $5-8. They are not painful to your dog. Just looks gross.

I dont know what that would be. when my dogs where puppys they had spots on their tummys like cows would but if u fing out what it is tell me just in case my dogs get one! good luck!

um...just take him to the vet as soon as you can, tho if it isn't bothering him it doesnt sound like much of an emergency
