Having a life usually means one of two things: having relationships or having passions (or both).

If you lack relationships, join a club, social group, arts organization, even (shiver) a church. Devote yourself to spending at least 5 hours a week involved with some organization. If nothing else, go volunteer for the local soup kitchen. Everyone there will be grateful to see you.

If you lack passions, consider what you used to enjoy doing. Hiking? Knitting? Gardening? Anything that you could look into again. Consider planning a trip. If you like reading, join a book club. Or go read in the Library (away from home). Computers and television are time-hogs, and they are poor substitutes for more passionate pursuits.

And finally, if you're depressed, consider seeing a counselor or talking to your doctor about antidepressant medications. The problem may be your brain is stuck in a boring feedback loop. It never hurts to ask for help to get yourself jolted back into action.

I honestly DO NOT understand your question. It would be great if some of you guys would give some details. I was just scrolling, trying to keep out of the controversial categories, & thought you might have more to add. Alas. You MUST have a life; is your point that you don't like it? Oh, never mind. Just an exercise in futility! I'll see if there's someone I can help...

I was really bummed out at one time. I considered what life would be like if it was perfect. Winning the lottery was too much of a long shot. I did, however, like to build things and Habitat for Humanity had tools and projects. That was a lot of fun. I also volunteered some at a homeless shelter. At one time I figured I might be living there myself and really needed to get a tour. Well, things changed, I met people who shared my interests, now things are pretty good. I still haven't won the lottery.

Ugh. You're so lucky. I have so many things to do I think I'm going to need to or three lifetimes. There is nothing more important to me but my dreams, besides God. But I plan to resort to God later in my life. You? You can get started now! Go to India in Vrndavana and learn... Please? Pretty please? Give it a try? I hear it's cheap over there. Indeed. Put advice together. Get a job and save up first. Then learn about their lifestyle and listen to words coming from HINDUISM and look for a God named KRSNA. Hopefully you can become a hermit, there is nothing else to do and you will be happy. (God the food there is greaaaat.) Read books done by A. C. B. You'll never know if you never try.

start with a job, excercise and eliminate any negative habits such as excessive drinking, wacking off, smoking weed, TV or video games. You can do those things just not constantly. Then figure out some interests and pursue them. Finally read a couple self improvement books.

You always have life. Search for the root cause of your despair. Don't identify with the despair as it is outside of you, rather than a part of you. Sincere searching will give you the answers.

Blessings
