Let's establish some concrete definitions. The answer in each individual case will be self-evident.
LUST: Any desire for your personal happiness.
LOVE: Any desire to bring happiness to the object of love.
Are you driven to control, enjoy and exploit her for your selfish aims? Then it is lust to that degree.
Are you driven to make her happy and please her without any selfish motive? Then it is lust to that degree.
Pure love is rare and only truly achievable in our eternal relationship with God on the spiritual platform.
Pure love of God is the only quality of love that can truly satisfy us. Until we are convinced of that we have material relationships with people in this world that are guaranteed to frustrate us.
When we have had enough, then we turn to God and achieve happiness, peace, satisfaction, bliss and eternal life with God.
What are you waiting for?

Love takes time.

If it's the beginning, you don't. You keep your clothes on and spend time with the person to see how you feel. It's most likely lust; love takes time to be developed and nurtured, especially when you're just getting to know the intimacies of the person.

Do you have interest in her as a person? Do you care about how she feels, what she does, thinks or says. That usually indicates a caring that could develop into love. However, two feelings aren't contradictive. You can love and lust over the same person. In fact, its natural if there's a mix.

Truth is, it takes one to make the other. A happy relationship is one that starts from a number of things, one of which is lust. There has to be a physical attraction in any relationship. Or can you be happy in one without?

You have to evaluate your feelings. What is your relationship based on. In the beginning you should abstain, until your feelings are clear to you. Why does the above assume this is from a guy? It can very well be from either a woman or man.

Sometimes you can't. There may be no defining moment that says okay we're a couple, you just find yourself seeking all you need or want in that one person rather than dating different people.
