My whole body feel swollen and I have gained weight what causes this. My legs pit also

I would go to the emergency room. Certain heart problems cause edema. You'll be okay, but you need some medical attention ASAP.

This is really not normal..You should not have any edema with a UTI, especially pitting edema..You need to see a doctor right away....It can be a serious kidney problem, a heart problem, or both......Please seek treatment immediately if you begin to have breathing trouble....Call an ambulance right away........God Speed

Simple UTI does not cause edema. You have some other kidney problem. You need thorough investigation including creatinine, BUN and other tests. See your doctor immediately.

Adema is water retention. You're probably retaining water because of the urinary tract infection (UTI).
