About four months ago I started hearing my pulse coming from somewhere. At first I thought It might have something to do with my ears.I went a gp which checked me out and found nothing. She sent me to a ent vasucular speicalist that found nothing. They both concluded that the sound i was hearing was caused by rapid weight loss and loss of padding around my ear drum. They also concluded that it might be caused by stress.I hear my pulse most of the day ,sometimes I hear it so loud that I could hear a stethoscope on.other days it barely noticable. The sound seems to be coming from my neck or behind my head or top of my head or maybe all three. The doctors that checked me said there was nothing that they could find really solid that would cause this sound and for sure nothing serious. The sound bothers me and makes me worry.I am scared its something vascular that they may have missed but both say no.i dont have hight blood pressure and when im relaxed I sill hear it,any ideas? Please?

We often tune our bodies in to problems. You may have had a strong heartbeat and you could feel it in your head, It may have scared you and created a situation where you actually listen for it and you are hearing normal body sounds.
It's difficult to tell you to try to take your mind off it, but if you can, I bet it will go away.
Good luck
