She claims she was saved at 22, and she's mean to her husband. He tries his best to please her, but it's not easy. Why is she mean to him?

Recently she confided to a cousin: "He's not saved." He's a Christian too, but not of the same religion; and his church doesn't have a special precedure or incantation for getting saved.

She's going to heaven, and he's going to hell; but that can't be the reason she's mean to him.
Someone who has trouble with her at work once asked "Is she really saved?"

Anyone on Yahoo Answers care to comment on an issue such as this?

She must be baptist, because only baptists believe in "once saved always saved".

Salvation from sin has been granted to all by Jesus' death. Salvation from condemnation can only be received after death when one is judged.

I was saved not only once, but twice. I am not a Christian now, however. When I was, I did my level best to act as a Christian should act. Was she saved? Perhaps at one time she was. In my opinion she needs to go back to the basics and learn to love again. As far as him going to hell. If the Christian God would send a good man who follows a different path of Christianity to hell, well who is to say which path is correct? Catholics? Baptists? Pentecostals? Who is right? Or are they all following what they believe to be the truth? Again, is she saved, not in my book.

There are many people that are "saved" that treat people horribly becausethe other person isnt "saved or in this case, isnt the same religion. I think more christians need to look at themselves and realize what the bible says about this subject. The bible says no sin can enter heaven and it also says to not take the speck out of someone else's eye when you have a plank in yours...this chearly shows that what she is doing is wrong and that she needs to brush up on her bible more if she plans on being the christian that she says she is.

To be Christian is to follow Christ's teachings...love one another and not judge. You don't need to go through some formal incantation to be saved. She's misguided and spewing venom that is unnecessary.

I think we will all be surprised when our time of passing comes at how ignorant and foolish we were on earth. I don't think anyone one religion or person has this thing called life figured out. I mean, if they did have it figured out, there would be no purpose in being here on earth.....they'd be in heaven.

I see the crossing over into the next existence as a shedding.....a shedding of all these silly preconceived notions we thought we had figured out.

I am going to let God judge this situation. His opinion is the only one that counts anyway.
