I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to all that believe.
As a Christian,I have never been in a war.
In my life time there has been no Christian wars.
So what are you talking about?

yes I am sure that religion is the downfall of mankind. You know what religion is, perfection. To make your beliefs and ideals on someone else's is not bad. It's when you bend it to fit your needs or you only follow someone else blindly. Islam and Christianity and judiasm follow peace and tranquility. Find me one verse or saying that shows violence that can't be explained. You know who's violent. Idiot atheist who think separating for the sake of being different is enlightenment. I have plenty of atheist friends who have deep respect for other faiths. Atheism is a religion whether you like it or not, you idiots just confine and confine and separate. You know what I believe, there is no such thing as a race. It's just stupid differences that people use to feel superior. There's also not one defined religion, there are tons of different ideas and beliefs inside a single religion, so finding one that is crazy doesn't define the rest. If you think I am just a crazy religious person ranting then you are bias, and stupid. Your not different from the kkk, you just set your own boundaries and limits to judge and distinguish people. The moors got along with the Jews and Christians fine. According to you they were raping, murdering and stealing on a daily basis.

While I agree that religion, especially Christianity and Islam, has been used throughout history to justify some horrific actions, I do understand that it is the people that have caused the blackening of those teachings. Christianity and Islam are two of the most peaceful religions on earth if only humans would actually follow the Bible’s and the Koran’s teachings. Judging a whole religion on the few extremists is ignorant.

Ashamed of what? I do not believe in a viloent religion, I am a Christian, not a muslim.

Really, and so none of your ancestors were either of those religions? Just like slavery, Christians can't be forced to take the blame for what others did hundreds of years ago and more than white peopletoday can be blamed for what some whites did hundreds of years ago.. I'd say the same about Islam, but the violence still continues there.

You might want to rethink this question.
Christians and Muslims have only been around for 2000 years, whereas there were many other religious groups around for the thousands of years before them. Most of them were based exclusively around wielding direct power over the people. Not on love, or the betterment of communities, or the growth of individuals, or glorification of a deity, etc.
So, I'm not so sure your question is right.
But does it make you feel better to ask it?

If you look throughout history Christians have been killing Muslims, Jews, Atheists, Native Americans from the Crusades to the Spanish Inquisition to Salem Witch trials to the Nazi Pogroms to lynching Blacks to the Christian envasion of Islam in Iraq....do you need more examples for all you Christians with your heads in the sand?
