I tierd to set a photo by right clicking on the photo and clicking set as background.But nothing happens when i do that.the photo shows up in the test window but not in the background of my desktop.please help thank you so much people.

i did all that you have mentioned so far.what can i do that is not listed below??

Right click on your desktop>properties>desktop tab> browse for the file you want to set as background.

Sometimes a common problem
Right click desktop
Properties
Desktop Tab
on the far right side there will be a button that says browse click that
Browse your photos for the given photo double click and select open.

you did not assign one or you did not activate active desktop
