I recently bought a camcoder that records everything onto a mini DVD. I want to know if I can just put that mini DVD into my laptop's CD/DVD drive and play the video......?

Also, Is there any difference in playing the mini DVD read only and DVD read/write on my laptop......?

Do I need any additional drivers installed....?

Manufacturers say that you can pop a dvd right out of you camcorder and into a dvd player. Your laptop should be no different. Take it to a computer store and try it out. Some dvd-roms have difficulty reading RW type media. Try it out to find out. No special drivers should be needed.

You can, if your laptop can play dvds. You will need to finalize the dvd in your camcorder before playing it in any dvd player or laptop.

Its no longer so effortless as copying archives to a pendrive you should burn the archives to the disk (this calls for a DVD/CD burner force, seek for on the internet for the call of your computer and be conscious if its CD force is a disk burner. even if that is then you definately replica the archives to the force then in computer proper click and press burn. also utilising living house windows to burn archives to disk isn the most solid you should attempt NERO or something its so a lot extra efficient.

Usually YES! But it depends on your laptop's age type, etc.
