I just want your personal opinion on lower back tattoos, and i f there's such thing as one that is skanky looking. Thanks.

yup because everyone has them now. they are commenly reffered to as "tramp stamps"

I have a 1/2 back tat now, my cousin has a belt line tat that's 6 inches across and 4 inches tall in the center. If tastefully done, any tattoo no matter where it is isn't skanky. You're afraid of a label just because you have one, you rank right along with the arm bands or sleeves. It's your choice.

i am working on completing a tattoo that covers my whole back, to technically it is a lower back tattoo as well. and just last night i got tons of compliments on it. so obviously not everybody thinks it is skanky. but i really don't care what closed minded people think. i love my tattoos.

Um sort of but no. Unless it says or expresses something skanky-looking? Lower-back tattoos are one of my favorites along with: wrist and ankle tattoos. Good luck.

I don't think so....I have a lower back tattoo with hearts and my name, my husband's name and my daughters name in them. I like it....and I don't think it's skanky looking at all

Yes. They are calling attention to your butt. Many people who have low back tattoos wear low cut pants so you can see them. It looks declasse' (classless). And many people who wear the low ride pants-shouldn't. They have muffin top mayhem-unattractive spillage over the tops of their pants.
When you are 50 or 60 will you want a tattoo on your lower back? If not, don't get one.

That shows what u know lower back tatoos are so not skanky ! i have a blue butterfly tatoo on my back low! those tatoos just make u look hot and foxxy!

I think the ones with something feminine, like a butterfly, with tribal around it...is just stupid. Its like, "hey, I got a hundred bucks, lets get tramp stamps'

They started out being popular on girls who hang around the carnival workers. If you saw one of those girls you wouldn't want one of your own. Best of luck to you!!
