As a woman in my 20's I can tell you that by now we are out of the "bar scene" and really a bar is not a good place to meet someone if you are expected a long meaningful relationship. I actually met someone in "Barnes and Noble" once in the cooking/food section.

at place that your interested in. going some place you don't really like your probably going to meet people who you are not really interested in.
