Please don't decide where you are going to put a tattoo based on where it hurts the least. That's kind of stupid.
If you want the tattoo, either put up with the pain, or go get a lick & stick tattoo.
The pain is only temporary, you'll get through it.
The tattoo is forever.

fat isn't the issue, first is how high is your pain tolerance and second, stay away from nerve centers. The more muscled area have the least bundled nerves. Joints, and areas of little muscling, top of foot, back of hand, head, neck areas have very little buffer for you. The lower on the back the less muscling for buffering the needle.

Your ankle or your lower back because there isn't alot of fat there and it doesn't strech your skin. If you get it on your wrist it hurts a little bit worse.

Hmmm......well, these are the most painful, so yu can cross those of the list
Perhaps the:
-eyeball
-tongue
-private parts of your body
-bottoms of your feet
-nostrils
-belly button (very center)

Well the ribs is the one of the worst spots.But I heard the calf doesnt hurt as bad.

fatty areas like an upper arm are less painful than a bony area like an ankle.

well tattoo is painful anywhere but i could say the thickest skin the less pain u will have.
