I can understand why he asked this question! Today there are more false followings in the world that possibly any other time and the Gospel seems to have paled into insignificance as people seem to be more concerned with other aspects of "organized religion" The Apostle Paul hit the nail on the head when he stated that he was not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ as it is the power of God unto salvation to all who will believe and yet some main stream Churches today are more concerned about other aspects and ignore this critical issue.

The begger down on the bottom steps saying God be gracious to me a sinner. Forgive me father for I have sinned.
Jesus said, he went home proved more righteous than the other.
