a horse drawn carrage ride is something sweet, and different. And most run even with snow on the ground. Or, this is a good one.... Think of places the two of you have been, things you have done. Write a about ten on slips of paper, making her guess what memory you are thinking of. Only give her the next one, after her guessing and going to the place ( so obviously somewhere not too far) then at the end , end up back home, have your gift and maybe a nice meal waiting for her.Not only will she have a great time guessing, and going to these places, re-living memories, but it will be great that you took the time to do it! hope it helps

I have to agree with what everyone else is saying. Memories make the best gift. Create an experience that he will never forget. Maybe try a 12 days of Christmas theme and drop little hints for him with a big surprise on Christmas day. That should knock his socks off!

OK, bear with me here.
Casually find out where a fancy place is he might like to eat and may have never been. Like, casually say one morning you were reading this article about *blah restaurant*, and can't believe they got a good review! See what he says would be better than that.
OK, make the reservations and rent a limo or car service. Enlist your friends. Give him an invitation to dinner, tell him to dress up, but don't tell him where.
While you're gone, have your girlfriends sneak in and set out candles (unlit) and a few blankets and pillows on the floor. Tell them to get a few flowers too (your dime). Have some movies waiting.
When you get home, he'll be totally surprised, happy at what thought went into it, and then you can cuddle on the floor watching movies and.......... *wink*
That's what I'd do.

Rent cabin for a night with a jacuzzi tub, and make a gift to give him while there, and write a letter telling him how much you love him, and put it in the gift.
It'll be a romantic night with candles, flowers and champagne (or sparkling white/red grape juice if you don't drink), plus he'll have that letter to take with him and remember you and that night if he is deployed.

What about a weekend getaway for the 2 of you? Pick someplace that he would enjoy, and spend the weekend doing that with him. It will be something he'll be able to remember if he's deployed. God bless you and all the others who have family serving overseas this Christmas!

Experiences make the best gifts. Do something special together. Go to a play, music concert, sporting event, etc. The memory of your special evening will last a life time.

Well number one on my list would be a wild night of stolen love before he ships out, but if you two are saving that for marriage then try something you do together. That's what you will remember most when you're in your rocking chairs.

Candle light dinner at home.
Bubble bath together.
Santa suit night gown.
Have a Professional massage therapist team visit you both at home.
After all he can't take any gifts with him!

I made my boyfriend a "little book of coupons" that he still says was the best Christmas gift EVER. Use your imagination for the coupons and make sure they are only redeemable at (your name)-mart.
