Sesso E, that's a very emotional question. You must be really hurt or confused to make a question like that. Don't feel bad about it. Smiling... is right. There's a lot of persecution in the world. It's normal that you feel kind bad about rejection and hate, but don't let it turn you away from the Lord. You have made your decision for Him, and --as you said-- just stick to Him and He'll help you to overcome just as He overcame in the world (and His life was not easy). If He overcame, He can give you the power to overcome just as He did; and He's willing to do so. I admire your love for the Lord. You must have a close relationship with Him, praise the Lord for that!

Remember that Christianity is not a life of bitterness. Though there are difficulties, there's joy and power available from Jesus to overcome difficulties. He never promised us to keep us away from hard times, but He did promise to be with us through it.

If your friends make fun of you and call you weird, I know it's not pleasant but don't feel so bad, but feel happy when they tell you you're different because that means you're being a genuine Christian.

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him." (1 John 3:1; NIV)

If you would like to talk, feel free to e-mail me.

Take care; God bless you!

People do not like what they do not understand. Most people are very judgemental but I think that a lot of Adventists are judgemental also. We all have to make a decision to follow Jesus or not....if we make no decision, that is a decision that will lead us down the wrong path. There will be no division of religion in heaven. We will either love and obey God or we will not be there...period. Don't worry about what people think, just stand tall for God and people will take notice even if they do not say so.

Fare question. Though not a question. First you are wrong.
In a real way, though not about people that hurt your ideal.
You are wrong to believe in a way that is called faith seekers.
When someone tells you from within the faith, your minister,
your church counsel, any member or believer, that is not the
day or time for you to make a sign, nor a pledge without peace.
When you pray it is a blessing to have this trust and faith that
you already have. Peace is a very serious focus, state of life,
and state of membership in church. What church means to
you is significant, and will hopefully fulfill your training for those
days when you need to use that side of your learning to go on
and grow, and succeed. Heavenly example is the trusted area
that brings ministers to teach us. Here in this beautiful day
the fulfillment is real. God offers you to trust Him back. A
sign or a pledge is during His most wonderful peace. Think of
what hobbies, work, duties you are good at, and choose to
find yourself out of reach of the arguers, and taunters and
gossiper places physically you have to think and live in peace.

I truly wish I could answer your question with ANYTHING that would make you feel better than you do. But I can't! I see so much hatred in this category that it almost makes me ashamed to be part of the "human" race. & don't forget, please, that it comes from BOTH sides. It always does. It's the "I'm RIGHT & you're WRONG" thing. Whatever the issue, politics, are dogs better than cats, & so on. All I'd like to say to you, is as long as your faith gives you comfort, just IGNORE those who feel compelled to "put you down." We should ALL be respected for our right to believe, or not to believe. PLEASE don't let it upset you. I've been "bashed" too--just be "happy" with who YOU are. Okay?

Hang in there, brother. Remember, in Matthew 5:11-12, Jesus warned us that those whose minds are entrapped by the world will hate and abuse us:

11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

So we should be happy when they behave that way. It means we're doing something right.
Blessings to you!

I think that it has nothing to do with their systems of belief. It is more likely due to their poor spelling and abbreviation skills. May god be with you all in this time of hardship.

most people can't get it through their skull that people can acctually believe in God. That, the earth just came into being and was always there, forever. And, then, they tend to make fun of people, to change them, it's rude, isnt it?

Because they are ignorant. I bet most don't even know what that means.

You believe what you know is right in your heart and don't worry about anyone else.
