Depends on what he did. I have always told my friends that if they go to jail for something stupid, I would never come visit. Something like self defense, survival, or defending a helpless person, I'd support them until the end.

yes of course you should go see him every chance you get and let"your babies daddy", be in your childs life as much as possible..hey that will only help, after all that shows a good family structure.
becasue your using the term babies daddy i doubt he acting in self defense or to help anyone else, so thats good to he shoudl get his props while he is in there

No u didnt put him there,just write him a letter here n there n mabe except a phone call once in a while.....Play ur part ,but i wouldnt go c him if i didnt want to....He should b happy just 4 a letter r some money on his books.

i dont think jail is any place for a baby to be. maybe by not letting him see his child, he will get a wake up call and stop getting into trouble.

No, I don't think its wrong. Whatever crimed he committed, he should have thought of the consequences before he committed it. One of those consequences was leaving you and your child. Nevertheless, I would keep him updated on how the child is doing by writing him or by phone.

it depends on what hes in jail for. is he really someone that you want in your life. are you still together is he a good dad - is he a good role model for your child? - your choice good luck

If you are together with him you should go and see him and support him emotionally. If you are not together or are going to leave him, then it's fine to not go and see him.
