For most Christians the Bible is the end all of everything and could never be wrong. But in the Bible flimsy defense, 95% of its moral teachings are actually, well, moral. It’s the other 5% that are hateful, bigoted opinions set down by the authors. It’s that 5% that everyone has problems with.

really Jesus or god doesn't tell us how to act, the ten commandment are the only commands that a Christan really has. we choose to not do the things that would cause others to fall or put Christianity in a bad light. we choose the actions that make us the kind of person we are. most Christians don't have to not drink and cuss and be angry, or be hate filled we grow into the realization that, this is not what Jesus wanted us to be like, and we try to not do the things that would separate us from the love of Christ.

Oh my, we surely do have morals, and yes, if God tells us in His Word, the Bible that something is wrong, or right, we believe it.

For example, the 10 Commandments are great standards to live by. And there is so much more in the Bible to teach us to walk in a way that is most pleasing to God and man. If I live by God's word, I would NEVER do you or anyone any harm!!!!!

There has to be standard of what is right and what is wrong. I would believe the creator of heaven and earth who will judge all men in righteousness knows best. What do you base your morals on? The feelings of the day? 80 years ago every nation on earth and every religion said homosexuality was immoral, so was it? and how about now? We need a standard that is true and does not change with the whims of men.

God has given every person a conscious to know right from wrong- those who are saved in Christ Jesus are given the Holy Spirit that teaches us and helps us- we are convicted when we are wrong....The Holy Spirit is awesome! I am so glad the Lord has blessed us with His Spirit because apart from Him I can do nothing- Just as Jesus says:

John 15:5
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
