Im in doubt - obviously would like to think he isnt but nybody who has cheated, been cheated on etc please let me know any signs. Thank you :-)

The majority of people have been cheated on and know the signs by heart...however, a sign is a sign is a sign, you know - there is no real guarantee for anything unless you have cold hard proof.
I haven't read over the other answers here, so forgive me if I repeat anything that has already been said:
There are some telltale indications and the most likely one is a lack of interest.
This lack of interest can go into many different areas of your relationship, but if your significant other suddenly withdraws from you (either emotionally, socially and/or especially sexually) it is usually a sign. Not always, but definately something to think about if it persists.
A break in routine is another biggie.
If your guy suddenly stops wanting to hang out with you on the weekends, for example and you ALWAYS hang out with each other on the weekends - you have to ask yourself...why the break in routine?
Not everybody has a routine, but everyone has some sort of thing they do, either on their own or within the relationship and if any of that ever changes and there is no explanation for it...well then, you have to wonder.
Some guys can cheat effortlessly. They are good at it and they know how to cover it up. Some are not so good at it and can't cover it up for ****.
Keep in mind though that we always hear the bad stories and never the good. For all the guys who do cheat, remember there are a lot of guys who DON'T.
I hope your guy is one of the latter.

if the person is avoiding you, or giving you one word answers when you ask a simple question. If they cannot look you in the eye, then that is a sign. If your gut is telling you to be suspicious then I would seek the help of a private eye, or do your own investigative work. Get proof before you allow your insecurities to take over.

One sign is lack of interest. another is not wanting to be with you as much as before. Always making up excuses about why they can't do something or go somewhere with you. Acting all illusive is another , not wanting to talk about much. Lack of affection,total disinterest in the things you used to do together .

One sign that I had to look for in my boyfriend was, that he didn't ask me to go somewhere wit him. He wanted to go wit his " friends".
