Either change your hair for that girl if you do truly want to take a shot at her. Or just keep looking, Not going out with someone because of their hair?

That girl's just making an excuse or has the mentality of an 8 year old. Either way, its not good for you.
Take some of those interested girls out on a date. You don't need to be boyfriend/girlfriend to get to know eachother on another level. People tend to be different on a date so give some of them a chance. Just tell them upfront that you're just testing the waters so they don't get their hopes up.

Well, if you like her enough you would do something with your hair...I kind of agree with her, there is a boy that I like but I would never go out with him because his hair is too long.
