the answer are a and b

as a matter of fact, whenever you are doing a starting, stopping, turning, lane changeing or passing. you need asignal.

I also suggest a turn signal on a turn only lane because if your friend following you, it is easier for them to watch and if the snow coving the road marking, a turn signal will be a better indicator.

In California the answer is: continuously during the last 100 feet.

Depends on what state your in. I belive a and c in all states. b in some states.
