how many 12" subs is recommended and what brand?? how many watts should i have goin to them? is there room in the trunk for 6 of them you think?

A subwoofer requires a box (enclosure) to provide bass. Each brand, size of sub will have different recommendations of enclosure sizes and can range anywhere from .5 cu. ft. to 3 cu. ft. (or more). At most you could probably fit three 10" subs or two 12's or 15's.
However, you have to be careful with the impedance (ohms) of each sub, and how they wire together and what's the resulting impedance when wired together, will be so not to overload the amp.
An amp operates with a specific load of resistance (ohms) of a subwoofer or subwoofer network.
It can get very tricky.

6 is quite excessive unless you wanted to enter competetions and stuff. other than that you'll never need that many. i would recommend two 12's or maybe even 15's. as far as wattage, that depends on the subs you buy. i would recommend a stereo shop for that question. different speakers require different amounts of power.

Why would you want 6 so you can be heard miles away and possibly blow ur rear window out.

no problems to have 6 or more, only that your blow youself out of the car or your blow off your battery.
