i am buying a tv for all three reasons ( movie, programs, and Xbox 360 ) and i wanted to get the facts or ur opinon's k get back to me

The tv that i've seen at every xbox 360 kiosk in the world is the Samsung LCD (not Sony). They make 3 different models that are all the same size and have different contrast ratios. The higher the better, but it'll cost more. Samsung is the way to go anyways, LCD or DLP. If you want a huge TV go DLP, if you want a nice 32 to 40 inch go LCD.

Hard question to answer because i need more info like what types of tv you're looking at. For examples lcd, projection, Plasma or dlp. And also what is the tv screen size we're looking at here. One thing i know for sure that you will definetely need a HDTV to get the best possible picture regardless of the input source. The xbox 360 on hdtv will blow you away. In my opinion you should get a lcd or plasma tv. If you want a tv with 37" screen or larger, go with plasma--Panasonic and Pioneer make the best ones. Smaller than 37" go with lcd----Samsung, Panasonic, Sharp, JVC, Sony,....makes great lcds.

samsung is made for gaming however there is a chance of burnin on the lcd so if money is not a problem go with the DLP no burnin and amazing color quality due to the introduction of a sixth base color magenta

if you ever go to a game store they have a tv that is played with the xbox360 and has a blue light in the middle
