I don't like it here in america. there is no vacation time at these jobs. i'd like to travel overseas, but that is almost impossible in america. 2 weeks isn't really enough. so i'm thinking about careers where i can get at least 4 weeks vacation time a year. do temp agencies allow generous vacation time? i'm worried, though, that they don't pay very well.

In the US you will never get a good vacation time of 4 weeks or over until you have worked for a company for 15 or 20 years

You have to stay at a job for a while before you get 4 weeks of vacation. I have 4 weeks of vacation, and in another year will have 20 yrs in and 5 weeks of vacation.

I'm a government contractor and we get 3 weeks a year, with the option to roll over 80 hours of that leave time to the next year. Of course, your contract would change depending on which company you work for.

Temp agencies usually suck. Period. You can take time off, but you won't be paid for it!

Become a Motivational Speaker.

Not only are you self employed and can take off as much time as you want , but you can choose to have your seminars at Vacation Resorts!

If you want more time off, then just charge more per person for the seminar.
