I spilled wine on a DVD and now it won't work. My player won't read it at all. Any way to fix it or do I suck it up and pay for it (Netflix)??

What did you do after you spilled the wine on it? If you just wiped it dry, there may be a residue left that is preventing it from working. Rinse it will warm, clear water. You can use a gentle, liquid soap if needed but rinse well afterward. Gently dry with a soft, clean cloth. Cotton is best.
If that doesn't do it, the wine has probably worked it's way under the label and is causing interference with the laser beam that reads the disc. In this case you there's not much that can be done.

Try cleaning it with hot water and some kind of hand soap. Maybe it will work, I dont know, Just an idea.

Try rubbing alcohol. Use a little of that and then let it air dry. Make sure that you don't leave lint on the surface.
