He's a schnoodle(a mix of a schnauzer and a poodle). He's only 19 weeks old. He's noisy too.

Your puppy is teething. She doesn't realize that she is hurting you this is how she played with her littermates. You don't want to hit her or do anything that reminds her of the abuse. What I did with my pup when she was 12 weeks and biting is pull my hand back when she would bite it then look her directly in the eye and firmly tell her "no bite" she quickly learned what "no bite" meant. Now at 4 months she rarely bites and when she does it just takes a firm "no bite" to remind her that is unacceptable. The other thing I taught her was "switch" when she was chewing on something that she shouldn't I would remove it from her mouth and replace it with a bone or toy and tell her "switch". She now knows "no bite" and "switch" and obeys on command.
As for the barking (if that is the noise you are referring to) what I did with my Bichonpoo was tell her firmly "No quiet". Now I have a dog that doesn't bark. She doesn't even bark when someone comes to the door. Occasionally while playing with the cat she will let out a little "woof" and I just say "No quiet" and I don't hear from her again. She learned this very quickly.

I raise mini schnauzers.
One of the ways I teach my puppies not to bite is to substitute a toy for my hand or whatever they are biting as soon as they bite, this distracts them and they stop biting the person. Another way is to get some Bitter Apple at the pet store. It comes in a variety of forms but I would get the spray to put on objects that shouldn't be chewed on. When you have him out and before he starts biting spray some on your hand or area that he usually goes for. Once he gets a taste of it he will back off. Make sure that when he does wrong that you tell him, "No, bad dog" and be firm but not in a frightening manner. When he does good, praise him.
The Bitter Apple worked well with a friend's mini dashsund when she was doing the same thing. You can also take your fingers and press in on the sides of his mouth so that the inside of his mouth is pinched by his canines and that will discourage him too because that hurts. Don't do this to be mean just to let him know that what he is doing to you is not pleasant either and he will associate that with not wanting to hurt as well.
Of course you need to take him to puppy obedience classes if you haven't yet. Many of the big pet store chains such as PetCo and PetSmart offer beginner puppy classes. This will help you learn to be the alpha "dog" in his world and he will then show you respect. Bad dog behavior is never the dogs fault but the owners! They only behave the way they are allowed by us humans so you must show him that you are the boss!!

About the barking...Schnauzers are notorious for barking! I don't know much about poodles but schnauzers love to communicate and that is how they do it...You can try to curb this problem by putting some pennies in an old pop can and when he starts barking shake it enough to startle him. Tell him bad dog again and if need be put him in his crate.
Mostly, what is happening with your puppy is he is testing his human family to see what he can get away with. So far, he is learning that there is quite a bit that he can do that is not appropriate as far as we humans are concerned.
Just work with him and be firm but gentle in your training and he should come along. He is still very young...

Your puppy doesn't mean to hurt you, and this is an ideal time to train him that it's not ok to bite.
When the puppy bites you too hard pull away and turn away yelling OUCH really loud, (the idea is to shock the animal) Then hold that part like it's really hurt and say to the pup, "you really hurt me!" like you are hurt, not like you are mad. Don't touch the pup or respond to it for a few moments while you "nurse" your injury then go back to playing. Repeat as necessary.
The most important thing in training an animal is consistency. If it gets this treatment from you but not your spouse and kids (or roommates or whatever) it will be less effective. Explain to everyone who handles the dog regularly what you are trying to do and enlist their help.
Please note that in some instances with a very aggressive animal this will cause the animal to become even more aggressive. If that happens, cease the plan immediately and consult an animal behaviorist. I've never seen it happen but I've heard of it.
Best wishes!

your pup is teething
it requires several toys suitable for teething
hard toys - nyla bone type
medium toys - rubber kong type or rope toys
soft toys - stuffed animal

also any time he bites you or your clothing then play time is over - stand up and walk away...
eventually he will learn because dogs want attention so anything that ends attention is bad....

hes a mutt... schnoodle isnt a breed

Like a baby, he needs to be taught and trained. If you've never trained a dog/puppy before get some good books on the subject and learn how. Good luck.

I have 2 small puppies of my own and they are like babies. You have to take time to teach them and don't feel guilty when you repremend them. It's okay to tell them NO and its even better when you catch them doing what you don't like and show them the item and say NO in a voice that shows command. You must be consistent and you have to do it very often for them to understand. They will eventually learn and you will learn to love them even more. Just be patient and you'll see that your hard work and presistence with your pooch will pay off!!!
Good Luck

Distract him. Put a toy out instead of your hand. When he is barking for no reason, take the toy wave it and throw it for him to focus on. This is the first step of puppy training.
