I am using Window XP, but recently it can't turn off. After I go out from window, the screen turns blue and keeps that ever. Would anyone tell me how to fix it? thank you so much.

What do you mean you can't turn your PC off? If it is totally frozen, press and hold the on/off button in for 6-7 seconds. It will turn off. I do hope you tried to "shutdown" first!

Are you talking about the "Blue Screen of Death"? A common occurrence.

Abbreviated BSOD, an error that can appear on computers running in a Windows environment. This includes even the earliest versions of Windows, such as Windows 3.0 and 3.1, and still occurs in later versions such as Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, and Windows 2000. Jokingly called the blue screen of death because when the error occurs, the screen turns blue, and the computer almost always freezes and requires rebooting.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Blue Screen of Death (sometimes called "bluescreen", "stop error" or just abbreviated as "BSoD") is a popular name for the screen displayed by Microsoft's Windows operating system when it cannot recover from, or is in danger of being unable to recover from, a system error. There are two Windows error screens that are both referred to as the blue screen of death, with one (Windows NT 4/2000/XP) being significantly more serious than the other (Windows 9x).

Next time you turn your PC on, I suggest you take the time to run a Disk Cleanup, Scandisk, and a Defrag.

Okay first try to hold down your power button for as long as it takes to power off, this is most likey caused by some sort of program or virus that is running in the background and stalling it out.

When you power it off as described above next power it back on and when you desktop comes up right click on an area where no icons are located.
Then scroll to properties and left click
go to screensaver tab
look for Advanced or power options
if you cannot find it just check out any of the tabs in this window for it.
When you find power options make sure you have it set for your PC type, Ie: Laptop, Desktop, Etc.
Now you can go to the power settings advanced screen and even choose what you want the PC to do when you hit the power off button and what you want it to do if you hold down the power off button.

Your settings may have changed so that when you power off it goes into sleep mode or hibernation but since a program is stalling it out it is not powering off. Hope this helps.
