Get some achor hooks that screw into the wall. Take some heavy cord or twine and wrap it around the tree. Tie the ends of the twine to the hooks in the wall. That will keep the tree from falling over.
Be sure that only unbreakable ornaments are on the lower branches where the cat can bat them. Tie your ornaments to the tree with thin ribbon. It looks really nice and protects your cat from getting hurt by the metal hooks.

that's stressfull. What I did became bypass studying, and placed some exciting issues. at the starting up, he's at a particular age, it passes and so does the behaviour. leather-depending and cats by no ability bypass that properly mutually, it kinda instruments up kitty for failure, which isn't truthful. Having seen for myself the analyze finished, i will inform you it really is a foul idea or perhaps as, no longer if, even as, your cat starts biting and weeing throughout, you imagine your mom will educate any allegiance to this cat? No, the cat is going to the protect and receives PTS interior a week, they don't locate homes. See, decrease back of their day it became "purely an animal". Now that we keep in mind that we are too, we are extra humane and performance learnt in a special way. you could u.s. many options, some specifically made for leather-depending couches. you won't be able to provide up conserving the kitten, you're his purely wish for no longer sufferring extraordinarily as he grows older. i'd by no ability take that possibility with any animal of mine. You seem tobe lower than the effect the claws artwork or exist after a declaw. No, they, and their foundation are bumped off perpetually, won't be able to be undone, there'll be no claws, yet there'll be a techniques a lot less discomfort meds than the cat needs, and the purely element you receives from the vet is the bill alongside with deceptive PR about declawing, which has all been debunked. by ways, make the bottle mix 0.5 vinegar, It doesn't damage the cat, being male it in all probability helps him once you're on a dry weight-loss application hostile to UTI in view that an infection won't be able to stay in an acid tummy (although the opposite will be purely as risky). Declawing gained't provide up his interest, so then she has him constrained on your room, and that by no ability ends properly. searching at her threats, it really is truly no longer a topic it truly is secure and condusive to a lengthy and chuffed tom cat life, is it in besides contained in the animal's pastimes to provide up him and undertake an alrtready-declawed cat waiting for a house? Clawed kittens that age locate shielding homes each and every of the time, declawed cats do no longer. what's perfect for the cat? no longer you, the cat. :)

If possible, try a baby gate to prevent access. I try to hang "dangly" ornaments higher up so they are not so tempting from the ground. Leaving about 2 branches at the bottom bare. My mom swears that leaving orange peels at the base of the tree will discourage cats. She says hers won't go near it but I have yet to try that one. Hope this helps!

Simply laugh at his/her wonderful little antics and realise that it is kind of silly putting all this nonsense into your house. Your kitten has no idea about dumb christian ideas and how modern capitalist society has interpreted them.
You have made an excellent little playground for your kitten so encourage him/her to play and enjoy their early life. You could photograph or video them and this will give you many happy moments when you look back over them.
Alternatively do all the things others have suggested and chastise this poor creature for showing an interest in it's surroundings.

You might try using a water bottle to squirt the cat when it climbs up there. That is what I have done in the past. They hate it. Good luck!

it could knock the tree down and hurt itself so you probably want a squirt bottle with water and if you happen to catch it give a little mist

my brother's cat tried to climb his tree, so every time he saw the cat mess with the tree, he'd make a loud sound, after awhile the cat was afraid of the tree so she left it alone.

It'd try a squirt bottle or a scat mat. Some people turn carpet strips with the tacks up as a substitute for scat mats.

I spray (mist) diluted white vinegar on plants outside to keep neighborhood cats away from them. It works wonders outside. The smell fades quickly to humans, but the cats can smell it for weeks.

The stuff you need is called Bitter Apple and sold at pet stores.Dab some on your cat's lips or nose so it can taste it and then spray it where you don't want it messing around
