Yes. Want to know why? Because it's NOT A SIN according to the Bible. You just have to understand what the Bible actually wrote instead of the mistranslations and misunderstanding that most people accept as accurate in the modern versions.
The passages in Leviticus, understood IN CONTEXT, are not an admonishment against loving sexual relationships between people of the same sex but instead against sex as a form of domination and control. Besides, these passages are part of the Holiness Code which is not binding to modern day Christians (or anyone else for that matter).
The story of Sodom and Gomorrah was a warning against rape, inhospitality and xenophobia. The reason for Sodom's destruction is made clear in Ezekiel 16:48-50. According to Ezekiel, the sins of Sodom were pride, laziness, being inhospitable, neglecting the needs of the poor, greed, and idolatry (the worshipping of idols). Nothing about homosexuality is mentioned.
1 Corinthians was a mistranslation of the word malakee. It's used elsewhere in the Bible to mean someone who lacks discipline or one who is morally weak, and never is it used in reference to sexuality or gender.
1 Timothy? Also a mistranslation. 1 Timothy was an admonishment against male prostitution, not committed, loving same sex relationships.
The words physin and paraphysin in Romans 1 have also been mistranslated. Contrary to popular belief, the word paraphysin does not mean "to go against the laws of nature", but rather implies action which is uncharacteristic for that particular person. An example of the word paraphysin is used in Romans 11:24, where God acts in an uncharacteristic (paraphysin) way to accept the Gentiles. When the scripture is understood correctly, it seems to imply that it would be unnatural for heterosexuals to live as homosexuals, and for homosexuals to live as heterosexuals.

A thief, an adulterer and a serial killer all have something in common. They hurt people!!!!! Badly!!!!!!!
Yes, it is possible to be homosexual and a christian.
It's possible to eat shellfish and be a christian. It's also possible to wear clothes that are of different materials eg. cotton and polyester and be a christian. It is also possible for a man to sleep in the same bed as his wife when she is menstruating and be a christian. Everything I have said in this paragraph according to the bible is a sin yet people these days wear clothes of different fabrics. Is a shellfish eating christian once saved always saved even if they continue to chow down on lobster once a week?
This is just my opinion and I'm just putting these questions out there. I personally feel if a religious person is supposed to follow the bible, then why don't they follow everything? This doesn't make sense to me. How can somethings in the bible be seen as not relevent anymore? Can people pick and choose what they think is right and wrong from the bible?
Anyway, my point of view is that if two adult people are in love, make each other happy and don't hurt anyone regardless of their sexuality, does it really matter in the big scheme of things? Live and let live. Again I say yes, a christian can be homosexual. Thanks.

You can absolutely be a homosexual and a Christian. Being a Christian doesn't mean you do what the Religious and political right tell you to do. It means believing in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
And there is very little that Jesus said about homosexuality.
And I promise you, being a homosexual is very different from being a thief, adulterer, or serial killer. If you're hanging around Christians who don't know that, then you should probably find other Christians to hang and learn with.

You can as long as you are not a PRACTICING homosexual... or a PRACTICING murderer or thief or slanderer or drunkard. Therein lies the key! 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 tells us that "fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes mor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons nor drunkards nor revilers nor extortioners will inherit Gods kingdom...and yet that is what some of you WERE but you have been washed clean" People can change, and if they do, and repent, and work at staying changed, then yes...that is what Christianity is all about! Jesus didn't preach to the uppercrust.. His mission was the prostitute, the money changer, the lowly and downtrodden.

You can be a homosexual and a Christian.
You can be a Christian (which only defines your BELIEFS) and still do all of those things. It doesn't mean you are a "model" Christian (or as some say, a "true Christian") .. but some follow the beliefs of Christianity, yet are tempted to steal and lie and adulterate .. and some have severe mental illnesses which causes serial killings.
No one is perfect and will "miss the mark" ... if one continues with bad behaviour when they know it is wrong, they will pay the consequences.
I think the true answer to your question lies in your definition of Christian.

No. This is because the Bible forbids it. One example is Roman 6:1. It says "Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid." Of course, we are not saved by the law, but by grace. The fact that God is able and just to forgive is what saves us, because we slip up now and then and must be cleansed of our sins. If justice were to take the place of mercy, we'd all be in Hell.
This, however, does not justify deliberate sin. Romans 6:1 addresses this by asking whether, just because we can be forgiven, we can sin whenever. The answer is no: "God forbid." Even God Himself forbids the use of grace in this way. Why? Romans 6:2 answers this: "How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" We cannot be Christians and deliberately sin because, as Christians, we must be dead to sin. Sin must no longer appeal to us, therefore we must not be deliberately engaging in it.
So, let's use simple logic. If one is a Christian, his or her flesh is crucified, and therefore he or she is dead to sin, and therefore one would not want to sin. So, if one sins deliberately and without hesitation, one is not a Christian. Therefore, if one is not a true Christian, one is a slave to sin, and then one will naturally go to Hell. Once-saved-always-saved only applies to those who attempt to live according to the Bible, not to those who openly flout God's laws. Therefore, one cannot be a homosexual, or thief, or adulterer, or serial killer, and a Christian.

Let me put it this way. If you ask Christ in your heart and you are still living in sin I believe that one truly did not accept Christ. One can say the words but it has no meaning. If a thief has stolen and then truly repents from his heart knowing it is wrong then yes he can be saved. If an adulterer is still living in sin and just says the words without truly repenting then no I don't believe that person is saved. Yes if a serial killer truly repents than yes he can be saved, but if he is killing why he says it then no I don't believe he is. A homosexual who is still living in sin and asks Jesus to save him is just saying the words and not meaning it. For someone to be saved they must repent and stray away from "all" appearances of evil. It is not just words but it has to be meant with the heart and soul. Yes a Christian is saved always saved if they truly accepted him, but that is why there is prayer so we can ask God to forgive us of our sins and he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins. I am no ones judge but this is how I believe.

Is it Possible to be a homosexual and a Christian at the same time, no it ain't. Because it is a lifestyle, and that person lives in that sin everyday.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What does the Word of God say about Homosexuality?
"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'" (Genesis 1:27, 28)
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination." (Leviticus 18:22)
"For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due." (Romans 1:26, 27)
"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
Homosexuality is a lifestyle. It is a choice made by those who desire the unnatural. Can a homosexual person repent and be forgiven by God? The answer is yes.
"And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:11)
God remains consistent in His condemnation of homosexuality as He does for all other sins. Homosexuality is indeed an unacceptable lifestyle before our Lord God Almighty. By the written Word of the Most High God we cannot condone or embrace homosexuality within the church.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is false doctrine, there is no such thing as saved always saved.
Galatians 5:4 (KJ21, 21st Century King James Version)
Christ then becomes of no effect unto you, whosoever of you claim justification by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

In the new way of thinking yes, you can be or do anything and still be a Christian as long as you are repentant. (of which i see almost none of people keep doing the same thing yet they are God fearing yeah right) But the Bible says homosexuality is not allowed so you be the judge.

Yes, mostly by a detailed reading of the sources behind the passages.
The OT places the same fate upon gays as those who eat shrimp. Can you eat shrimp and be Christian?
The NT teachings against gays varies from the closet case Paul (Note:Paul was not God.) to somewhat fuzzy translations of "man whore" into "homosexual".
The interpetations get fuzzy if you start looking at the meanings of the original words in the New Testament and who is saying it.
The Old Testament, however, says that we should be put to death for wearing cloth of mixed fiber and to not grow vegitable gardens (with differing seeds in the same plot.)

Of course it is. God made homosexuals just like he made heterosexuals. Christians who exclude people for being who they are make the rest of us look hypocritical. Just because one group of Christians decides it's a sin because they chose to translate the Bible in that matter doesn't make it one.
No, it's not the same as the others you listed, but being Christian only means you belief in Christ and his teachings. It does not mean you are perfect and without sin. That would leave all of us out. It's supposed to be about acceptance and love and forgiveness. Too many of our religious leaders forget that and emphasize dogma. It's sad, really. That's what turns people away.
