No. Not at all. In fact, in the old testament, God commanded the people of Israel to get drunk (on one occasion). Strange, huh?

Many people in the bible drank wine. It was a form of socializing. In Ephesians 5:18, Paul says not to be drunk with wine because it leads to problems (paraphrased), In Luke 12:19, Jesus said eat, drink, and be merry. (Paraphrased). Timothy used wine for medicinal purposes. Keep in mind that some things that aren't sins may not be comfortable for some people. If drinking causes a person to feel bad or convicted, then you should refrain from it. It may not be a sin, but wrong for you personally. I would also remind you that there are both health advantages and disadvantages to drinking alcohol. Ultimately, it boils down to your own personal choice and being okay with whatever you choose.

Only if it's harmful to others. Sins are things that are hurtful and that's why we're not supposed to do them. Having a drink now and then, if you're not alcoholic or have other health issues, is not harmful and red wine is actually good for you to a certain extent.
The problem comes with overindulgence, and that's with anything, not only alcohol.

Just not to excess. Be ye not drunk with wine, wherein lies excess....Doesn't that end with, But on every word from the mouth of God.
Jesus drank wine at the last Supper. Someone got drunk in his tent, Noah? Cause one of his son's covered him up. The only problem with that seems to be, not the drinking but the inebriation.
If ya drink wine at all, once in awhile you will get a little drunk, cause no one is perfect. I think even the verse really means, not to a state of extreme drunkeness, or to where it has started to take over you're life, or even an inordinate amount of you're attention, and interest. Leading you away...from God.
My own belief is that alchoholism is a genetically related disease, just like diabetes. I believe it is curable, but even if it is not, I don't see it as sin, as such. Just not the best root to go on.

Let's not ask if it's a sin, just for a few seconds, and ask if the after effects of it are good or bad.
Can you tell us 10 good after effects of drinking alcohol versus 10 bad ones?
If the good effects are more it's good if the bad effects are more then it's bad.
I know alcohol can keep you warm and make you feel temporarily relaxed and even attractive but is this worth the fool you are going to make of yourself? Is it worth the bad breath? Is it worth an accident and lost souls, that accident may happen to YOU not others even if you are not driving, is it worth it? Is it worth going to jail? Is it worth something you do and regret for the rest of your life? You will just not be able to control yourself in a couple of drinks and you might end up an alcoholic, don't say that will not happen coz it happened to many many others, it might just happen to you. young people suffer from liver diseases because they couldn't control their drinking habits and neither would you. Once some one's liver is damaged there are many drugs that requires that the liver is healthy. There are people who are sick and can't take medications for some disease because they have sick livers.
Once it starts it's uncontrollabe. Social drinkers are still drinkers and still put themselves under at least 5 of the above risks and classifications.
Don't be mad at me but do you think god wants us to be healthy or sick? in control or out of control?
You are smart enough to figure the answer of your question out for yourself, I just thought I'd give a helping hand. Rather safe than sorry. You are still safe, so just keep it that way.
Take care

No, unless it makes you feel like you did something sinful. Then it's something with you and not the alcohol. Try to find out why you consider it a sin.

well since proved that wine or grape products is good for your hart , and too much alcohol can damage your liver so, moderation or drinking among friends can not be a sin , but if you drink and getting drunk and being dumb is punishable by law and if you harm any person or animal in the process is defiantly a Sin but you can repent

Christianity wise - no it is not.
Jesus drank wine with every meal. Furthermore he made approximately 115 litres of wine at a wedding reception because they ran out. Now that's a party.
What is wrong is to drink in front of someone who has a problem with alcohol and cause them to fall off the wagon. In the wider community, we never really know who struggles with alcohol and who doesn't. Therefore what is the best example we can set to those around us?

YES, it is a sin, if it is professed
by a person, who does not drink.
It is not a SIN, for others. Moderate
alcohol is very good for the entire
system of the body.
It stimulates heart, it gives you
good sleep, it helps in digestion,
it gives you good feeling, it makes
others at home, comfortable, you
feel like a poet or a philosopher,
your writing skills may improve,
you start appreciating others efforts,
it helps to build a strong immune
system, it fights diseases,
you are able to socialise.

I know if in your heart and soul you feel as if you are sinning then do not drink alchoholic beverages. however if you are of legal age, and do not infrenge on any law(s) man made or through your religious guide lines, and in your heart and soul you feel as if you are not sinning then sup of the bliss of alchoholic beverages, be sure to listen to the voice that is your spirit that the lord did give you as you consume so that you do not damage the temple (your body) that the lord hath made.

No. Actually most sins are "man made" and culturally biased.
Wine is healthy for everyone, without excess, obviously.
Just don't live your life in fear of doing wrong. Follow your conscience and be as good to other as you wish they were to you. You'll be free of sin.
