and not just God himself? Do we need to be saved if we just come to the conclusion that we are not perfect and just strive to want to be better? Did Christ die for me, because I don't remember asking him to do that? its nice that he did, but he did'nt have to

i'm not christian bashing, sometimes I just think I'm a man and I don't need anyone to forgive me because I can admit my faults, my weaknesses, pay my dues and just move on and try to do better, ofcourse i'm a low down sinner, but I try not to be, but not because I hav a messiah but because its destroys the possibility at having a fruitful life

[8] It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Jer.17
[5] Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man.

It is not good to trust in man, but I am not sure about faith.

Well, If Christ didn't die for you, then you are still in your sins and with no way for forgiveness. The bible says, there is no remission of sins without the shedding of blood. It's that whole substitutiary sacrificial system. Judgement was to be rendered, but was deflected onto an animal.. The life is in the blood so the animal, a poor substitute, but sufficient for remission of sins once a year....was killed. But there isn't an animal alive that could bring you back to life. You and everyone else who is a decendant of Adam and Eve are born spiritually "dead" or separate from God and what's a cure for a dead man? well, life. Life can't be imparted until sin issue dealt with. Jesus did it and now you can have life and intimacy with God if you place your faith in Christ.....TAH DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! *does the gospel jig*

Well to put it all in a word people become prophets so that the future can be better, see it this way if Jesus, Moses, Muhammad, Buddha, Gandhi didnt teach their way of peace the world we are in right now will be worst than this. With out them coming people will be blind form kindness and will have total war among each other

The Lord Jesus Christ came to earth as a man so He could die for our sins but He also came to be prophet, priest and king of Israel. The Nation of Israel rejected Him as their King and they had him killed and now His blood will save anybody that will believe. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

1. because without Him, we would all be lost and on our way to hell.

2.it is alway unwise to lean to the arm of flesh...Jesus was perfect and is the Son of the living God..so He wasn't "just" a man.

3.All need to be saved from eternal seperation from God.

4.Jesus died for all, with or without anyone's permission..and yes He had to. He knew that there was no other way for us to be reconciled back to the Father unless He came.

The world needs a Messiah because we are all naturally sinful. "All sin and fall short of the glory of God." If we didnt need a Messiah than it would have bee pointless for God to send his Son to die upon the cross to save all humanity. I believe that everyone has a choice to go to heaven or hell. They choose Christ and except him as their Lord and Savior and they go to heaven. The deny Christ and choose to be savior over them selves and they go to hell.

We r a show me people (we need proof) .. God is revealed through Messiah and Prophets.. as if everything thing else is not proof enough.
because we r not perfect due too original sin we needed a way back,a bath(cleansing in or through a clean Spiritual Being) thus it is as it is.
b mindful of your words on this (its not wise) "I don't remember asking him(Him)". and yes He had to.

but christ died for u anyways
there was this bible teacher , he wanted all his students to accept jesus christ, but they were all like, whatever
but he had one good student who had accept christ and did all his work, and was on the football team, and had good grades.
so, one day, the teacher got together with the student, and they decided to throw a end-of-the- year party.
so, the next day, the teacher brought donoughts to skool, and asked everyone who wanted donoughts, but he said they had to pay for them.
everyone all started to throw a fit, and were all like, no way man.
then the teacher called the foot ball kid up, (gonna call him steve)
and the teacher started going around and gave one donought to each kid one at a time. and every student that he gave a donought to, steve got down and did 10 push-ups. one girl that he got to said she didnt want one. but steve got down anyways and did 10 push-ups. there had been at least 30 students in the class room, but more kids who had been outside had started to come in to see what was going on,
steve's arms had began to hurt, but he finally got to the last student,
the teacher asked steve how many push-ups he did a day, and steve told him the he does 250 every night
so steve had done at least 400 push-ups that day, just so that everyone could have a donught if they wanted it or not
the teacher compared steve to christ, saying that he got all his work done, and was liket he perfect one in class, just like jesus christ
see, christ had died to pay our dept, he didnt pay with currency or whatever, he payed with his very on blood, even if we didnt want him to

because he helps us be good and kind and be who we should. without him we would have no reason for life. we would just be born, die and disapear. and of course it is nice that he did that for u. that way u can return to him.
