The Bible says God created the universe. Scientists confirm the universe had a beginning (Big Bang) He must exist outside the physical universe that we know (which the Bible calls "heaven")

From a cosmological standpoint, and using sci fi terminology, you could say God exists outside our space-time continuum.

It is impossible for us to know what the nature of God is in terms of his (for lack of a better term) "physical" makeup. He exists in some form, but it's probably nothing like the energy/matter that we experience in our universe. The inhabitants of heaven are referred to as "spirits" which implies that these beings have is no physical presence as we do. Aside from God himself, he created Jesus and the angels as residents in heaven.

While such spirit creatures do not have physical bodies, it is assumed that they are capable of creating them to interact with humans. Before the flood angels created bodies for themselves so that they could come to earth, bred with human females, and had giant offspring. Angels appeared to men in the OT, for instance Abraham & Jacob, Joshua, Samson's parents and in the NT. Angels are also good a jailbreaking. (Acts 5:19,20; 12:7,8)

All energies have spiritual counterparts, like electricity and light. God is like gravity, but also has a conscience.
