I am married and my husband is in the Navy.

Children, getting a spouse, adding other dependents -- it does NOT matter -- the pay is STILL the same, and does NOT change.

No extra money if you're already getting housing allowance.

Contrary to popular belief, you do not get paid any more - doesn't matter if you have 1 child or 10. The pay is the same.

The only time your entitlements increase is if you are overseas and will get COLA based on HOW many dependants the service member gets. Housing allowance is just based on with or without dependants. SO, NO you will not recieve extra pay for having babies, while in the Military.

Additional dependants do not result in additional money.

The service member gets an additional housing allowance if they are married. And the health benefits are covered. And they are eligible for larger quarters.

You only get money for one dependent----
meaning he got all he would get when he married you.

nothing. BAH remains the same whether he has just a spouse or a spouse and a passle of kids.

housing and medical that's it. also your hubby gets more money if he is in a combat zone. they get bonuses for different things but not for having kids.

If you are single, I think they discharge you, because the Navy isn't equipped for single motherhood. But I'm not positive on this...

your BAS will go up only a couple of bucks a month and they only do that for up to four children.
