Love is a basic dimension of human experience that manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude. It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification.
Love is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen.
The diverse range of meanings associated with the single word 'love' is commonly contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for Love, reflecting the depth, versatility, and complexity of the concept.
This diversity of meanings is further reflected in the many distinct classifications of love including: romantic love; sexual desire; platonic love; religious love; familial love; true love; and the more casual application of the term to anything pleasurable, enjoyable, desirable, or preferred, including activities and favorite foods.
LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING!
But you should be more concerned with what love is not:
Lust, abuse, greed, drunken one-night flings, infatuation, most highschool relationships, incest, rape, etc.

Love is a feeling you get when you are with someone. You like to be around them, like to converse with them. You usually have similar interests. You miss this person when they are not around, but you don't pine for them.
If the love develops to a point where you BOTH feel that you can't imagine life without the other person, you may choose to get married. If you do, you find out what REAL love is. That's when it becomes unconditional. You share everything. Your dreams, your ambitions, a desire to start a family or not, your earnings, your time, your possessions, ideas and bank accounts. There is nothing you won't do for the other person, and THAT kind of love will keep you together for the rest of your lives.

Love comes in many forms. It does not cause pain. Love doesn't hurt. It is the expression of unconditional acceptance, nurturing, caring, empathy, and compassion for another human being or other living things. Lust is many times confused with love. Lust cannot sustain anything on its own, yet combined with love can form bonds with another human being for life and possibly beyond. When you find love, nurture it and be kind to it. I hope this helped. Don't search for love for it will find you when the time is right.

A very strong positive emotion that people who care a lot about each other typically feel for one another...
That's a general explanation anyway...you'll get many definitions...or you can look it up in the dictionary but until you feel it, you'll not be able to understand...

I think love is all about the type of heart you have. If you dont have a caring heart then you cant love. Love is about happiness, honesty, relation, faithfulness, and thing you fing important to you.
