its your soul.. a part of "God" is within us all.. it is called our soul.. the soul is always and only good.. driven to care and be compassionate..
It lives within our mechanical being called the human body.. which we control by our own free will to act..
This free will to act differentiates between good people and bad people.. but at the core.. we all have a good soul.. or holy ghost..
A regular ghost is a soul or spirit that has no host being.. it does not live within a human body and is just a free ghost.. that is hanging around for reasons still unknown..

It's God's Spirit that's on the earth.... Holy Ghost
Basically your considered a ghost when you die, while you're still on earth, but when you go to heaven you are as you once was Spirit.

He is the Spirit of God..part of the Trinity...God the Father..God the Son..God the Holy Spirit.
"Regular ghost" do not exist...that is only demons that deceive.

Ruh-al-Qudus (or Holy Ghost) is referred to in the Quran as Angel Gabrael who helped Jesus (pbuh) and revealed the quran to prophet Muhammed (pbuh).
We do not believe he is God, but he carrys out God's will.
