I just bought a new refrigerator and lately everything in my freezer forms ice crystals.

Sounds like there is something not letting your door close completely or you have a defective seal on your new freezer. Close the door on a dollar bill. You should not be able to pull the bill out easily. Sometimes the seal "rolls" and does not seal completely. What you are seeing on your food is frost which causes freezer burn. Also check your freezer settings..refer to manual..may be set too high..

Ice shouldn't form in a new freezer if there is an airtight seal. Check to see if the door is really closing tight. I have had a freezer full of ice crystals when I had something preventing the door closing tightly.

Make sure your food it wrapped air tight or else it will get that freezer burn and that's not good eats!

your freezer could be up to high...try turning it down a little. :)
