Well, to tell you the truth, I haven't lived long enough to want death. I've got, more or less, 70+ more years that I want to live, so I hope you can wait a little longer to have my soul. Mostly, I'm scared on both the time between my cause of death and my actual death (as in the circumstances surrounding it) and when. If I end up dead at, say, 30, I'll be ticked of because I haven't lived as long as I would hope to. Also, if my death is tortuous, that will, to say the least, really suck.
Look, if this is possible, let's make a deal: you'll take me to Heaven when I'm old (let's say...around 75). You'll protect my soul and ensure that I'm at least past retirement (putting me in a coma is considered cheating). In exchange for that, you can be assured that I will revere your powers in the universe and... heck, do anything you want that will even it out. Deal?
[edit] Death: change your avatar: the previous one (Grim Reaper with orange background) looks more ominous.

I'm not scared of death at all, whats the point in worry about something that will occur in like 40 years... seriously we have better things to do.

being raised Catholic and attending Catholic schools from grade school through college, i am, without a doubt, afraid of death. i have been taught that God is forgiving, but am unable to believe that God will forgive me for my sins. my sins are normal sins, but i've blown them out of proportion to a point where i'm fearful of my judgment.
i think when the end is near, i am going to fight like crazy to stay living. the fear of dying; what i'll encounter will be my driving force to keep living. i can't imagine giving into that last breath.
i worry so much about life after death.
this is a true picture of what i feel toward death. i'm truly afraid that i won't go to heaven. i honestly don't feel worthy.

I don't think I'm scared of death, but I've never stared death in the eyes either. It's easy to talk big when you're sitting in front of your computer, but if you were to be on the brink of never seeing your loved ones again and getting ready to be gone from them...I may be terrified.

I will say that I am not afraid of death per se... I am afraid of not being... or perhaps more specifically of only partially being... I hate the idea that there might be some sort of limbo situation where you have some sort of consciousness but are unable to DO Anything...

Being dead in a casket in the ground but having some sort of conscious sensation or thought about it.. THAT is what scares me... but that may be because I am TERRIBLY claustrophobic...

I used to be morbidly afraid, but not now, not since I found out what death is: the deepest unconciousness we will ever know, although the term "know" is a bit misleading because we don't know anything. If we die, in a blink of the eyes, we will wake and come to conciousness again in the resurrection.

Me. right here, petrified. I'm an atheist. We believe there is absolutely nothing after death. Just rotting in the groud. To me, that's a scarier thought then there being a hell...

Ha!, Ha!
Look at the losers.........lol
I am going to Heaven, NOT, maybe Hell for you, or eternal blackness!
I am not going to die for another 40 years, NOT, no-one knows what tomorrow will bring!
Who is scared of death, EVERYONE, except for the mentally insane.

I am scared to to die.. Most people are!!
But i envy Christains.. they are not scared as they know they will go to heaven and keep on living...TO them this world is just a stopping point..
I wish i could believe in it,, believe me ive tried , but intelligent reasoning has prevailed....

Or, it is like a heavy rain from the clouds, wherein is thick darkness and thunder and lightning; they put their fingers into their ears because of the thunder claps for fear of death, and Allah encompasses the disbelievers
