Description
This is a recipe which will allow you to tolerate the yucky taste of brewer's yeast. Brewer's yeast if chock-full of nutritional goodies, but the flavor leaves much to be desired. For years I tried to cover up the taste with sweet but unhealthful products.
Then I decided to use my head and see if I could blend the flavor of the brewer's yeast rather than trying to simply cover it up. I sensed that the brewer's yeast had a sort of nutty taste to it. So I put it in things that can accomodate a nutty flavor.
So take this recipe as a jumping-off point. You may find it to be a tasty way to take your medicine. You may even want to create your own non-barfable recipes.

Ingredients
1/2 cup of organically-grown buckwheat groats
2 + tablespoons of peanut butter from organically-grown peanuts
blackstrap molasses (of course - organically-grown. Did I really have to say this again ?)
One serving Brewer's Yeast (my favorite is KAL Imported) (seems like about two tablespoons)
1 1/2 cups distilled water

Directions
1. Grind the buckwheat groats 2. Boil the water 3. After the water begins to boil, gradually add ground buckwheat flour to the water with a spoon in one hand, stirring the water with a different spoon in the other hand. 4. When all the cereal is cooked remove the pot from the stove and allow to cool for a little while 5. Add brewer's yeast, peanut butter and blackstrap molasses (to taste) 6. Stir 7. Eat 8. Brush teeth

Please Note:
When using any recipe, always check it for avoids. Our food lists changed somewhat a couple of years ago, and all recipes in the database may not reflect those changes.

Brewers Yeast Taste

Hi!

At home we used it to make Tiger's Milk.
For a tablespoon of brewers yeast (some kinds taste better than others), use half a banana, 1/2 cup yoghurt, squeeze of lemon, toasted wheat germ, a spoonful of honey ... and a dash of cinnamon, if you like .... have it in the morning ...if you can find pasturized eggs which you may eat raw, add one egg .... put it in the blender and add some pineapple or apple juice to get a health drink that will double as breakfast.. It does take a lot of disguising .... but it is good for you .... Cheers!

Forget anything you have ever been told about Diabetes.

And get this - it has nothing to do with insulin, exercise, diet or anything else you've heard in the past. It's all based on latest breakthrough research that Big Pharma is going Stir Crazy to hide from you.

Thats what I put it in. It tastes real bad but it is good for you. I am mostly vegetarian so I use it for the B vitamins. It basically tastes like crap no matter what you out it in.
