Why must innocent children die brutally at the hands of other humans?

It is one thing for a little child to perish in a natural disaster or to succumb to disease. The child is life and truth incarnate. The earth is also truth. The earth is worthy of its life. It is tragic and painful to us but it still makes sense.

I am speaking of the times when they die without respect or dignity. When an insane human, even a family member, decides to destroy their bodies and their spirits and succeeds at it. This does not make sense to me. How is this part of the order of things?

Because humans sometimes have little respect for the sanctity of life.

Well, just like there is good there is evil. God is awesome and He wants the best for His children here on earth, but he is also a gentleman. He won't come in, unless he is invited. People who destroy and mutilate little children are operating under the power of Satan, whom happens to be evil and only wants to bring havoc on the earth. These small children don't deserve what's being done to them, but Satan doesn't care. He roams the earth seeking whom he can devour. Therefore, if he sees a bright future he can destroy, he will do everything he can to destroy it. Nonetheless, God is able to conquer every and any plan satan has. These innocent souls may be better off in heaven with the Heavenly Father.

This is the world that Satan is the ruler of right now. Things like you are talking about fit right in with Satan's reign.

1 John 5:19: " We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one."

Revelation 12:7-9 & 12: "And war broke out in heaven: Mi´cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

This is also one of the signs of how people will behave during the last days of this system of things...

2 Timothy 3:1-5: " But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away."

It is a very sad situation, the times we are living in, but God will not let this go on indefinitely...

2 Peter 3:9 & 10: "Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. 10 Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a hissing noise, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be discovered."

2 Peter 3:13: " But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell.

The above verse is speaking of a new earth in the sense that only righteousness will dwell here...

Psalms 37: 9-11 & 29: "For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
11 "But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it.

The death of any child is tragic, natural or not. There's not nessicarilly a reason why it happens, if you believe in God then tell yourself it's God's will it happens, if you don't then just accept that some people are just sick.

You tell me. Why is it that there are some people who call themselves christian, who are willing to let their children die an agonising death because they would rather pray for them than take them to the doctor
