2. A normal (not hot but ok) guy who is quite extroverted and can get a conversation flowing.

Well, they both sound good. But I had this situation in real life, and wrongly or rightly, I picked number 1. We didn't do too much talking, but WOW, everything else was so unbelievably great!
If I hadn't had that real life experience and was just going on theory, I would have said number 2. Which just goes to show that theory and practice are two separate things ...

Comming from a perspective that puts the emphasis on the long term relationship, the guy who has a personality is going to be satisfying for a long time. (This is what I lean towards.)
A guy who is hot, but not that interesting/ smart/ nice etc. is going to get old really fast.
If I were just in for a summer romance- go for looks!

The normal guy. I tend to go for guys who nobody else notices, anyway. I like to talk, and I can't put up with a poor conversationalist.
