I want to make a bed for my cat out of blankies..what kind would they like should i put it in a box?

Cats love to be warm. An old baby quilt that has polyester fiberfill inside would be quite cozy and easily washable when needed. Any old soft sweater, preferably one that you wore before you put it in the box, would be warm and comforting, since it smells like you.

Take your pick...an old afghan, an old blanket, anything soft and warm will suit your cat just fine.

I have three cats and have crocheted blankies for each of them . I made them out of baby soft wool and each one is a different colour . They all chose their own blankie and never sleep on each others . Ibought cat nests and the sheepskin nests that you hang over the radiator but they never use them . they are happier with their blankies in boxes ( that is when they are not sleeping on the bed beside me !

My cats L O V E memory foam and a big piece of fleece wrapped around it!! You can buy a few yards of the fleece at Wal Mart for almost pennies & they just love it!! Also...don't forget to sprinkle some catnip on it too!

the best blankits for small cats are probebly a wash rag or a handkrchife would be perfect for a cat i a box it would be vary comfterbel and have a happy cristmas to you and your kitties.

cats like best the blankets that on your bed. We bought one of those carpet kitty condos. cat loves it, sleeps there all the time. when he isn't crawling all over you.

for my kitty, i have some soft blankets i got at grocery store--cheep--i put one on my bed with all is toys on it--he thanks me and takes his naps and plays there.
when i have a designated kitty bed--he ignores it.
