what piercing (on my ears) should i get that isn't very painful??

i'd like to get a piercing for christmas, and it has to be on my ears b/c i'm not allowed to get any body piercings (i'm 15). what piercing should i get that isn't too painful?? i was thinking industrial, but after the painful stories i heard i'm not sure...or maybe my tragus...what do you think?

and i already have my lobes and one cartilage on my left ear.

wel tragus would be alot more painful than an industrial. you shoudl hear the pain stories from that i was thinking abotu getting my tragus's pierced not too long ago until i read :its liek a punch in the head: lol i said no thank you!! ......so i got my caritlage pierced directly ascross fromt where the tragus is. its cute and i love it. if you already have a cratilage piercing then you can suck it up and do an industrial! i hoep you are gettign this done professionally and not soime chea shop in the mall! .


anyways if you want the industrial then go for it. or you can always just not get one... there are many ear piercings out there.....lol too many to list.....

but tragus is one of the most painful piercigns since the cartilage is so thick and takes a long time to heal (up to a year)


but please be smart and get it done by a professional!!!! or dont get one at all! or you'll regrt it!

I'll tell you my experience.It is easy and cheap.
We usually do it the old-fashioned way.

I had my ear pierced by my mom and in the middle of the lobe.
Mom just took an ordinary needle and some cotton thread and boiled it in salty water.After that she pierced my ears.
In the first it was painful but you have to endure the pain for some minutes and then it is gone.After you pierce them tie the thread.
But be careful after that regularly apply the ointment : Betnovate-N Cream.


But it is reccomended that you in the first 1 and half week treat it with boiled and salted and pressed neem leaves.

If one gets infected and hurts you use the ointment and put melted butter on the hole.Then take out the pus by squeezing the lobe.

After 1 week more take out the thread and insert a dried neem leaf stem and daily move it and never take it out but only after 1 more week and then insert the earring.

Wear it for christmas but keep wearing for a year afterwards so that the hole does not clot and gets used to it.


P.S.Our way is a bit long i think it is better for you to use a machine and within 2 weeks you shall be able to wear your earring.I don't think you head of sth called a neem tree.

Get it done next to the lowest hole on the ear lobe with a gap of 1 to 1.25 or 1.50cm gap and do it gone shot. it doesn't pain at all trust me. Just five seconds and you are done.

Cartilidge, I didn't even realize he had stuck the needle through. But please go to a piercer, do not go to some place like Claire's or the Piercing Pagoda. Using a gun on any part of your body is dangerous and causes many infections.

the bottom part, the lobe . don't go high it's painful and it's boney. and don't get em done at the mall, they don't clean guns well and you could get hepatitis.

if you have your earlobes pierced one then you should just get it double pierced. it doesn't really hurt becuase you know what to expect.
