Why do women say this?And are they genuine in saying it or are they trying to put up a front.Who usually says this ?Is it usually the"nicer"type of girls?

I call 3/4 of people sweetie. I call my kids, my ex, and a lot of my friends sweetie. Some women are genuine about it. I just use it as something to call them, but I only do it if I care abuot the person.You may never know which one it is unless you ask.

yeh i think the nicer type say this word cause the mean ones use cruses and the ones that use this is the nice ones. women say this out of anger and sometimes of affection.

I know some women call other people, "Sweetie" or "sugar" or "baby" when they're being bitchy, but when I say it, I mean it. If you're being called "sweetie" by me, it's because I think you're sweet.

It can be many things. But it's no worse than when a guy says "man", "bro", "sweetheart", "honey" or "babe". Waitresses often use this to acknowledge a customer without insulting them with "Hey You"!

Sometimes it's part of there personality to say certain things, if your in a relationship with them I would presume they (the women) will call you something that she does not call everybody else. :)

it's annoying! Expecially if you are older than them! I am 21 and I have had little 15 year old call me that! GETS ON MY NERVES!
